Catfish Charlie’s Culinary Program has returned for a second year!
Kick-Off Night: Wednesday, December 4th, 2013 from 4-5 p.m.
The food service industry can be a tough one to maneuver. The owner & chef of Catfish Charlie’s Restaurant invites you to learn some helpful hints and key skills through a Culinary Exploring Program. Through a few initial evenings Explorers will learn some of the basics with Charlie and his staff, such as preparing dishes, presentation of the dish, menu choices, and education for the profession. Then students will have the option to select a weekend night in smaller groups in order to see how everything comes together on a busy night.
The Dubuque Fighting Saints have joined the Exploring team!
Kick-Off Night: Monday, December 16th, 2013 from 4-5 p.m.
Come learn about sports marketing with Dubuque’s home team, the Fighting Saints! The staff at the Saints
will show you how marketing, promotions, ticket sales, & merchandising have to work together to achieve
business goals. Then attend a game with the group to see how each marketing element plays a vital role.
Sessions will be once a month on Mondays from 4-5 p.m. at the Dubuque Community Ice Center.

To register, please mail the completed registration form (signed by a parent) and the $25.00 program fee
to the Exploring Office at P.O. Box 732, Dubuque, IA 52004. Checks should be made payable to Exploring.
