Explore Engineering

The St. Ambrose University Engineering department will host our 18th semi-annual event:

Exploring Engineering
Wednesday, April 1, 2015
6:00-8:00 p.m.
Rogalski Center, St. Ambrose University

In addition to informal conversations with engineers from industry, there will be brief presentations focused on the Aerospace Industry and how Industrial Engineering and Mechanical Engineering fit into that industry.  There will also be a presentation on College Admissions and Financial Aid.  The Davenport West High School engineering design team will also present their quadcopter design.

Following the event, check out the Engineering Career Exploration Fair where you can check out what engineers do at local and regional companies (such as Exelon Energy, John Deere, and the US Army Corps of Engineers) and even participate in some hands-on activities. The event is free, includes pizza for dinner, and is open to high school or community college students and their guests.

Please RSVP to Dr. Jodi Prosise, engineering@sau.edu by Monday, March 30.
At St. Ambrose, students can choose from a four-year degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a dual IE-ME degree. Our program gives students personal attention, but is big enough to offer great opportunities. Plus, students receive a solid liberal arts education, resulting in being well prepared for whatever their career holds.
