1. Auto Technician Exploring Program Kick-Off – Monday, December 1^st, 2014 from 6-7 p.m. with Dubuque Auto Plaza BMW-Nissan-Hyundai, located at 600 Century Dr. in Dubuque.  Through this program students will learn about the daily life in this career, the training and education necessary to enter this field, and be given hands on experience working with tools and equipment used by auto technicians.  Students will receive a tool box on the first night. Each session they attend, they will learn valuable skills and even be given tools to fill up their tool box. How’s that for career preparation?

2. Sports Marketing with the Dubuque Fighting Saints Exploring Program Kick-Off- Monday, December 8^th, 2014 from 5-6:00 p.m.
   Through the Sports Marketing Exploring Program with the Dubuque Fighting Saints, students will learn about education & qualifications involved in sports marketing and have the ability to network with professionals, even shadow the promotions team during a game!  Sessions will focus on business plans, ticket sales, promotions, media relations, and hockey operations.  The Mystique Community Ice Center is located at 1800 Admiral Sheehy Drive in Dubuque, Iowa.  Please use the main entrance.  Someone will be there to greet you.  The program’s schedule will continue once a month from 5-6:00 p.m. for the following Monday nights.  Again, if students could RSVP to our office that they plan on attending, that would be great.  Thank you!

3. Our Cosmetology Exploring Program with Capri College is still accepting students for its second meeting!
   The purpose of this program is to give you the best information we can about careers in cosmetology through hands on demonstrations and discussions about hair, makeup, facials, manicures, pedicures, and massage therapy.  If anyone missed the first intro meeting and still wants to participate, that is not a problem!  The next meeting will be Thursday, December 18th, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at Capri College located at 395 Main St. in Dubuque. Meetings will continue on the third Thursday of each month through April.
